This class will demo how to use the tools in your software to create many types of appliqué and how to apply them in the designs and projects you create.
Appliqué is a process that will allow you to add fabric to the design and will give you much greater texture, pattern and color than you can achieve with thread alone. It also gives great detail and interest to the finished design and saves time and thread. Plus you can make some really great in the hoop projects using an appliqué technique.

Appliqués are fun and easy and you can get really creative and at the same time use up some of those stray pieces of fabric that you have kept around just knowing you will find something to use it on someday. You can also use some of those articles of clothing that you have not worn in years, but just cannot bear to get rid of. Cut them up and use them, try some fun fabrics and some unusual ones and you will find that appliqué can embellish an inexpensive gift and allow you to create something very unique with much less time involved than just stitching lots of stitches.
